Paul Frangipane
I am a photojournalist based in Brooklyn, NY. I graduated with a degree in journalism from Brooklyn College - CUNY and have a news and criminal justice background in print journalism.
My photographic approach is through an intimate documentary lens, striving to capture the beauty in natural moments and providing creative perspectives on common events. Much of my work focuses on labor movements as well as people's relationships to the natural environment.
I am currently available for assignments in the Greater New York area and speak Spanish as a second language.
My work has been published in The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post and other publications.
I also participated in the 2019 Mountain Workshop, received an honorable mention in the Feature Picture Story category in the 2020 Northern Short Course contest and co-produced an Emmy-nominated short documentary.
